I am running Access XP and wonder if I can use wild card (* or ??) in the queries. I need to made a query that will produce a all the dates for a specific month, regardless of the year. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

You can use a wild card (*), however, for a specific month, you need the Month function:

[tt]Month(TheDate)=10[/tt]

I need more help. I used the =month (TheDate), when the window opens I entered the desired month, but the query runs but does not produce any results. I am trying to find all the birthdates for a given month in a data base the has birthdates in this format 02/14/2006. I want the query to ignore the day and year when searching through the dates. Help.
