hello,

I am very confused on my subject. I am trying to somehow take my canon powershot sd500 digital camera add a WI-FI card into it and use it to transfer pictures directly to my computers hard drive through the wirless LAN I have here at home. I was wondering if anyone knew what WI-FI card I could possibly use and how do I do this whole tcp/ip transmission with the camera and the computer. I am very confused please help. Thank you.

Everything that I have read says that it is the SD430 that is Wifi capable, not the SD500. Did I miss something?

yea you missed the part about me trying to make the sd500 into WI-FI, I know its not WI-FI capable yet, but nvm this project I have a new idea on how to do it using the new and upcoming Belkin wireless usb hub and some programming...=] thank you for trying though.
