Wierd Word Linked Table Thingy

I copied an access query, (righ click on query object in the view) > copy ...switch to word doc...>pastespecial>linked.

the data comes in and is formatted genericly so I cleaned it up (selecting the table>properties)

...life is good!!!! ...but only for a period of about 15-20 seconds, then the format reverts.

...If I go to the undo from the menu a "Paste" action has occured automatically, If I undo paste...the table looks good again.

but alas for only 15-20 sec., then reverts to generic again
and the Paste action is in the undo again!....


any thoughts?

You might need to change the link format to formatted text or plain text. In either case you'll be stuck with a fairly generic result that will insist on maintaining its own format, but the result you get may be better than the default.

Thanks...I've been experimenting and found that if I change the column width(s) in the query, and link as html...then the format of the linked table is ...hmmmmm (similar) to that of the query.
