wierd final encode in premier 7.0?

Sorry if this has been asked, Im not familiar with the forum.

When I'm all done editing and encode, I play the file in a media player and there's this huge black border around the movie. I can't seem to find anyone who knows how to get rid of this, anyone here know what causes it?

my apologies I cant find a way to edit (Im a chronic editer on forums always forget something) I was meant to say this is prmier PRO (7.0)

The only thing I can think of (if you're exporting from premier correctly) is that some media players have a "minimum" window size (this is so that there is room for the menu, navigation controls, etc) so if your video is smaller than this, it would just put a black border to fill the extra space.
