I have developed (a while back) 2 applications in clipper. I have one client is using both of them. They reside on the same Server (Multi-User Apps)..., and he is accessing both of them from the same stations.

A-Beeper Management Application
B-Cellular Management Application

From one of the stations, He can run the beeper program, but, when he tries to run the cellular program he receives this error message:

DBFNTX/1012 Corruption detected.

I deleted his NTX files, dSalvaged His files, NO error. He can run the cellular program for other stations and even the server NO PROBLEM. ONLY 1 %$@@#@ station.

Network: PEER-2-PEER (Win98) and stations are win98.
10/100 HUB.

P.S: Both version are compiled with the same library/clipper verion/Network version/etc...

Actually both are identical, but he doesn't know that! ;) I changed the interface and some data files, but, same 100% the same..

What do you think?
Thanks in advance AK

Dear AK;

The &*%^% workstation, is it the same as all the others? (OS,config,etc)

Have you checked for naming conflicts in your system? Just turn everything on and look at the Network Neighborhood.

Do both of those programs share any of the same dbf's; indices?

How are you logging onto the @#$% workstation, as a user or as admin? Are you logging onto two workstations with the same profile? Does your program read profile information to ID its' users?

Regards,
David Tracy.
