I have a 2621xm and the integrated modem is not comming up is there a special command to activate, or firmware? I have followed the config. guides on the web but they seem to be limited. Any help would be great.

Does the router recognize the WIC? If so, then you need to configure the interface to come up when "interesting" traffic is present. Create an access list, and then a route map that specifies that traffic needs to flow across the Async interface when traffic specified in the access list is seen. The interface will then come up and dial out.
