I'm working in Access 2000, and I'm trying to debug my code using breakpoints, but ever since splitting and deploying the database (I am still developing in the original db), it refuses to stop the code at any breakpoints I put in my code!

I have tried every Error Trapping setting in Tools¦Options, but to no effect!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the help file as usual doesn't seem to mention this problem...

Thanks in advance.
ahdkaw
ahdkaw@sensibilium.com
<a href= you do visit my sites - be warned! You must be of a discordian nature...'

Thanks to a Karl K on Access World Forums, I can now share the solution with you all.

If you suffer the nightmare of breakpoints not working, you'll need to go to Tools¦Startup..., then click Advanced, and make sure the Use Special Keys checkbox is checked (ie: = True)

ahdkaw
ahdkaw@sensibilium.com
<a href= you do visit my sites - be warned! You must be of a discordian nature...'

Okay, the above solution doesn't work...

I certainly feel a fool putting the above "solution" into the FAQ area, I hope tek-tips delete it...

Anybody got any other ideas as to how to make my breakpoints work?
ahdkaw
ahdkaw@sensibilium.com
<a href= you do visit my sites - be warned!
