Hi Peeps... I hope you guys/gals can help me out:
I'm running 1x 2000 server, with 12 x XP machines.
The XP machines use Access XP or Office XP to be exact.
There is a main access database file on the server, which is shared out. Everyone has a shortcut to this file.
Every week, they run a certain querie within Access that use to take 5-10 minutes on the Windows 98 machine with Access 2000.
Since we've migrated to XP it's taken up to 2 hours!!!! (with everyone logged out of access)
I've updated every XP workstation with all the latest service packs. (except office so far).
The network does generally well, file copying etc and browsing is good....
Does anyone have any suggestions.,
BTW - 100 mb network
