Why Multi-launcher needed?

can provide .....
1) better utilisation of available cpu's and server resources
2) more control of configuration of each event server so it can be tuned for a specific purpose.
3) ability to stop parts of processing with switch off all launcher functions.
4) more opportunity for headaches when it goes wrong.
