SYMPTOMS
========
When forwarding messages with Outlook, attachments are stripped before the message reaches the Sent Items folder.
The following conditions must be met in order for this to occur:
- Outlook 2000 is installed on the computer, with Microsoft Office 97.
- "Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages" is selected.
- The message arrived via SMTP, in Plain Text format, from a non-Microsoft Exchange client.
RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional
