On my HPUX 11.0 server, the bpdbm spawns mulitple processes of itself whether or not backups are running. These processes cause a I/O spike on the OS drives. The server hosts Netbackup with several other servers operating as clients

If I'm not mistaken there shuld only be oe instance of this runnign at one time? I thought I read if more than one were running it could crahs the system>
