Hi

I'm a long time user of OE on many machines and versions of Windows but I've never come accross this before and wondered if anyone else has.

My email for the last two days just disappears before my very eyes. When I connect (send/recieve) my inbox icon shows the number of messages I have recieved but when I open the mailbox the mail has gone. Two days ago all of mail folders emptied and now when I try to create mail I an told that 'the message cannot be opened'. The same thing has happened to all users of this machine (XP home) and they have received a 'low memory or low disc space' error when they try to asccess their folders.

I've loaded the latest virus definitions and checked the whole of my c drive twice and mcafee cant find anything (no its not the mcafee /xp clash, been there done that) and Ive checked that my hard drive is not filling up.

Anyone have a clue as to where my mail is going?

Many thanks

Lole

Here's a MS KB you should read if you use Mcafee Virus Scan. The title is
'OLEXP: Outlook Express E-Mail Messages Are Missing from the Inbox Folder'.

Search the KB website under Q321505

Hope this helps.
