Hi.
I've got a 5-site WAN. At each site is a Win2Ksp4 server hosting a DFS replica. All workstations are Win2K pro sp4.
I, as the administrator, can go to the DFS tab & select an alternate site with no problem.
My users, not being administrators, cannot. They can go into the DFS tab & check status but if they double-click an alternate path it simply changes all paths to inactive.
I'm sure it has something to do with rights but I've been unable to track it down.
This is a big problem for me because quite a few of my workstations have settled on the WAN node at the end of the absolutely slowest link they could find.
