Dear All

I use quarkxpress 5.0 for windows and have been getting the "missing fonts" warning when importing a file created under MAC. I have purchased new fonts to replace the likes of Charcoal only available on MAc and this is fine. However, I am getting problems with my newly installed palatino fonts. Quark tells me they are missing. I checked in windows/fonts...they installed OK there. When I click replace in Quark, the drop down list doesn't list the palatino fonts....I double checked they were properly installed in my Fonts folder and they are . after all, all the other fonts I installed have been "removed from the "missing font" warning on installation.

Please help!
Thanks a lot
Regards
F

Have you restarted since you installed the fonts? You should seriously consider using a font manager rather than your systems fonts folder. I'd buy a Mac if I could afford one.
