CD:IDE

Note :I dont know the name of this CD to search its driver and I need window to discover it and give me its name at least .

If you solved this mistery you are the man

If you're replacing the old CD-ROM using the same cables, I'd check the jumper settings on the old drive and set the new CD-writer to match them. Marc Creviere

Oh yeah, another thing. IDE devices are NOT hot-pluggable. You stand a very good chance of damaging your system if you continue to try that (if it's not already damaged).

Also, you probably won't need a specific driver for your cd burner.
