hi,

i am looking into setting up an intranet for my office. i have been googling but can't find the answer but i thought i would ask you guys!

any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

i have a win2k3 server which is hosting my office's public website. my question is, should i set up the intranet on the same box or should i set it up on a separate xp box? how can i restrict access to this internal site? some websites sugguested to disallow anonymous access when creating the website and also restrict access to only certain ip (the same subnet) but is this enough? or is there more things i can do to securly keep outsider from accessing my intranet.

thank you so much in advance.

do you do this under DIRECTORY SECURITY tab? the IP ADDRESS AND DOMAIN NAME RESTRICTIONS is grey-out, do you know why?

thanks.
