Hi all,

Just wondered if many Citrix types are lurking on here, and wondered whether any of you are CCIA yet?

I've just started a new job so i've decided to let them know exactly what certification path I am interested in, and have been trawling the Citrix web site for details of what I need to do to get from where I am now (CCA with an NFuse Exam!) to either CCEA or CCIA.

Would it be a fair assessment to say that CCIA is for people who are interested in designing and implementing Citrix Farms, and CCEA is more for people who maintain and support those farms?

It seems to me that most of the people I know are CCEA, and so that, even if just for the rarity of it, CCIA may be a better qualification to follow?? I've got to sit 3 exams whichever path I choose, but from what I can gather the CCIA exams are a good deal more involved, and that practical lab is the stuff of legends.....if you can find anyone who's a)actually done it, and b)is prepared to say anything.

As I said, I've recently started a new job, predominantly support but some of the Farms are so badly broken that a complete re-design is probably a good idea, so both paths are an option.

Just interested to hear from anyone who, like me, is trying to decide whether its CCEA or CCIA for the future.

Many thanks,

Chris

From what i understand you have to go to Citrix for the last CCIA exam, it's in their labs.
