Hi

We are a Letting Agent and our lettings software provider has just introduced telephony integration.

We currently have Avaya IP Office (only Essentials) and our software provider is asking what type of TAPI Device we are using.

There is a drop down menu with:

Standard Modem
Agile VPN
WAN Miniport (L2TP
RAS PPPoE Line
PPTP
SSTP

Can anyone let me know which the Avaya IP Office is ?

Thanks in advance.

You have nothing there for the IP Office.

You need to install the TAPI driver for your system onto your PC.

This can be done on your PC or on the server (license needed), depending on how thier software works.

Speak to your phone system provider for more info and assistance.

Was installed by BT and they are useless.

Will try a private telecoms company.

many thanks for feedback

Yes they are!!! Seen many of their below standard installs.

If you give an indication to your location many UK guys on here will be happy to help.

Yep, got that one from the system with all the licences and 96xx handsets we got :)

It's pretty messy, obviously from a template/PC generated as it's full of unnecessary stuff :)

Hi

I am based in Sutton Surrey if there are any AVAYA specialists local??

HairlessSupportMonkey is from that area and TomMills but then you will have a Michael Jackson music on hold :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Many of us cover the whole of the UK

We actually look after many BT sites that they cannot because they require more than their std config provides.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

In BTs defence though, they aren't going to go around all your PCs and install software for something you haven't asked for (and at the time didn't need):)
