It appears I will most likely need a router in order to get the t1 into my pix. Which one is the easiest to work with?

Thanks

There are lots of routers you could use as a access router. I prefer the Cisco 1841 or 2621XM.

one of the t1 providers is recommending the following

Adtran 3200 Router with T1 NIM

concerning the cisco 1841 that router can be configured to forward everything to the pix right? do you know of a link to the pdf guide to the 1841?

Are you wanting the router to act like a bridge or a router? Do you have an address space your getting with the T1?

I get 16 static ips with the t1.

like previously mentioned I have a pix 506e now.. All Im wanting to do is connect the t1 to the pix and have the pix act like it does now with our dsl line.

The router will forward everything. I would most likely be given an IP by the T1 provider for your serial (t1) connection and require a IP from your address range for your Pixs gateway. The ISP will route your range for you.
