which reference file needs to be installed for Access 97

Is there a certain reference that needs to be installed when I am trying to do a 'DoCmd.RunSQL' on 'openform'. I have an Access 97 application that has this code and it works fine for me, but then I have some one else use it on their computer and it tells me that it doesn't understand 'environ('username')' part of the RunSQL. What can I do without replacing the 'environ('username')' of the code because I know it works everywhere else.

Does the Username setting exist on the problem machine?
Do Set at the DOS command prompt to check.

Try doing ?environ("someothervariable")
in the debug window where someothervariable is one from the list shown by the SET command. (Temp or Tmp for example)
