I decided to buy a motherboard with the via kt266a chipset. But which one should i get? how do i know which one is better? I've had my eye on the

Asus a7v266-e
Epox 8KHA+
Abit KR7A

They all have the kt266a chipset. The Epox is the cheapest one but does that mean the board wont last as long? or the more expensive the more stable it is? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Your decission should be made on the features that suit you best, all these boards are on the A list, all will perfom within nanoseconds of eachother, 266a is the way to go for Athlon DDR, but choose on the price and features that are best 4 U. Martin

Bottom line is you're going to be happy no matter which motherboard out of your list you choose. So just base your decision on what the motherboards have to offer, like price, number of pci slots, overclocking ability, integrated sound, raid controller, etc.
