Which Edition to get (repost)?

Typical Newbie question - I've been told to get Crystal Report Creation API. But that term is for the version 9 I believe. For v10, which version should I get (Developer or Advanced Dev. ) ? There's a huge price difference - I just need to play with it and learn for my personal biz, but don't want to be bothered by the 30-day eval cause I want to take my own pace.

Okay - Let me rephrase. Does RDC include RCAPI, your experts out there?
RDC - report designer component
RCAPI - report creation API

I meant for CR10 - BO removed all the reference I needed from the Website.
