Where's my resizing thing gone? 1

[VROOOM]

I use to be able to resize objects by just selecting them with my "selection tool/ that black arrow thing"

Now suddenly I did something and it won't allow me to resize the objects with the Selection Tool I have to now use the "Free Transform Tool"

Ho do I get it back to the way it was?
