If I 'publish it' to MS Word, I lose all the horizontal lines, not to mention OLE objects.

Is there a way to preserve these things when exporting a report to Word?

Thanks in advance,

In a word, (no pun intended) No. Graphics, OLE and pretty much everything except data are tossed overboard during most of these "export" processes.

I think the only thing that comes near to preserving the original look of a report is the Snapshot flavor of the OutputTo method.

If you don't need to edit the ouput, you could look at printing the report to a PDF file.

Does Access 97 provide that capability? I assume I'd have to have Acrobat installed (and not the free version either!)

Right?
