SQL2K. I can't for the life of me find where to specify the seed and increment values for an identity column in Enterprise Manager. Maybe I haven't properly set my column witht he IDENTITY property; I've went into table design properties and selected the key I wanted (it's of type int and the PK) in the 'Table Identity Column' field of the Properties page. Is there more I need to to to define a column as IDENTITY? If not, where can I specify seed and increment values in EM? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

It's a little different in 2005. I had some trouble finding it too. On the properties page, look for the property Identity Specification and click the "+". Then set IsIdentity to YES. Once you do that, you can set the seed and increment value.

How do you reset the value back to 1. Once I finish testing I want it to start at 1.

Seem to recall that there is a SQL statement that may do this.
