I have 4 domain controllers, I want to run addprep /forestprep to upgrade from 2000 to 2003.
but I don't know where to run it.
I know that I should it to run at Active Directory Schema and then click Operations Master it gives me dc1 on all domains, but when I open active directory users and computers and then click Operations Master (PDC) it gives me dc2 on all domains, so where to run addprep /forestprep on dc1 or dc2.

You can run it from any DC.

The PDC and the Scema Master are two different roles and can be on different servers.

run:
adprep /forestprep on the schema master
adprep /domainprep on the infrastructure master

if you have support tools installed then run:
netdom query fsmo
which will give you a list of all roles and who owns them

how to know which one is schema master and which one is infrastructure master .

when you run netdom query fsmo, it will give you something similar to this:

Schema owner W2K3DC2.test.local
Domain role owner W2K3DC2.test.local
PDC role W2K3DC2.test.local
RID pool manager W2K3DC2.test.local
Infrastructure owner W2K3DC2.test.local
The command completed successfully.

There are many other ways that you can check for FSMO roles.
Here's a great article you might find handy:
