Where is the Soft Mix button in Illustrator that is used to give multiple objects translucency? I am told that it is a Pathfinder filter but It does not seem to be anywhere in version 8.

Where is the Soft Mix button in Illustrator?

In Illustrator 8.0 you can find the Soft Mix command by opening the Pathfinder palette, choose Show Options from the palette menu and click the Soft Mix button (the middle button on the third row). Click OK to apply the Soft Mix command with a 50% Mixing Rate (the default setting).<br><br>Hope you find it!
