In XP Pro workstation I have Remote Desktop installed. In the old Win2k, there was an mmi window for Terminal Services Manager, where would I find the similar utility for Remote Destkop? It's not in the Administrative tools section.
Thanks,

Terminal Services Manager is part of Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server. What you might of had installed was the adminpack from your server. To install the adminpack you need to get it from the following folder:
Is there an adminpak.msi compatible with XP Pro? For that matter, is there a such thing as Windows XP Server? Or is that just 2003 Server?
I tried to load onto xp pro, the adminpak.msi from my win2K server. It immeditately said it was incompatitble with this version. It just seems to me that if Remote Desktop is going to be a part of XP Pro, then there should be a console where one could administrate and configure it.

The Win2k adminpak should not be run on XP, there is a great risk of AD corruption, the the .msi installer should fail to run (but could be circumvented, but do not).
XP server became .NET server then became Windows 2003 Server. The adminpak from Windows 2003 server will install on XP and can manage Win2k Domain and server resources:
Thanks bcastner,
That was what I was looking for. I have another related question--How do I (or is it permitted) run multiple simultaneous Remote Destop sessions on XP Pro workstation? I could not find a setting in the terminal services manager.
Thanks,
Jim
