When we dial internal numbers, we hear a ring. When people dial from outside, they get the ring from the lec then it drops off. I wanted to make sure I didn't turn it off by accident...

If you enable distinctive ring in station form you have a 2-burst ring for external calls? Equivalent ring energy may be not enough to power the ring circuits of the phone, so try to disable distinctive ring for the station with so problem.

P.S. NX01, At first your question sounded like you want to hear a special ring tone for the chief and other tone for wife like in GSM mobile phone? :)

In case you are still having issues...
