Hey all,

I'm having a slight communication issue between my NW 5.0 server and an HP switch. HP tech support is now requesting the "speed/duplexing settings" for the NIC. I thought that information was in NWCONFIG but I can't seem to find it in there. Would someone please point me to where I can find the NIC settings?

Thanks,

Joe Brouillette

PS Can anyone recommend a good site for finding information on working with a Netware server? Thanks!

go into monitor
then lan something (about third one down)
then either tab or rtn on protocol
you will get stats and near the bottom it will tell you speed and duplex

you are best to force these in autoexec or inetcfg if that way inclined

ie old compaq card is 100fd at end
n100 is something like speed=100 forceduplex=on
or something like that pending on card

Thanks very much! That was it.
