i had a 320 gb hard drive on my comp that had win98SE... it could only recognize 127gb... i recently upgraded to XP and i was wondering how to get all my 320gb, i tried to reformat it and it still said 127gb... any ideas on how to get my lost 193bg back?

thnx, jesse

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

ok... i deleted the partition and now i dont see my drive in the my computer thing... how do i get it back now?

What file system have you formatted the drive as, NTFS or FAT32?

Is XP fully updated from Windows Updates, including SP2?

Are there any Bios updates available? What does the Bios say about the size of your Hard Drive?

Upgrading 98 to XP is never a good move, it carries across all the old 98 baggage and problems.

Using XP's File and Settings Transfer Wizard, and clean installing XP is a better way in my opinion.
