Hi,
I have only a couple simple questions. We have a Cisco 2600 router. Over the past few months a strange problem has been happening where our exchange email server will lose it's ability to contact our external name server. This of course halts all external mail. When I go to the exchange server I try pinging a internet domain name with no succuess. Then I reboot the 2600 and everything works fine! I'm 90% sure it's the router but I dont' know how to confirm this. So....
Are there any logs that I can check on the router? If so, where and how do I acess them? Perhaps they will have some errors...
Secondly, will running the "test" command on anything cause any problems? I wouldn't think so, but I dont' want it modifying anything... just checkign if things work.
Lastly, if any of you have run into this bizarre problem, I'd greatly appreciate your input.
Thanks
