Where are my shares? Heeellllppp

Hello Forum:

I have a problem here with an image where the network
share will dissapear reach time the system is restarted.

At this point we restart and re-create the share, has
anyone ever seen this problem with shares.

This is a workstation image.

Thanks in advance for any help on this, I'll check the
Microsoft site as well, but Iv'e been most successful
here in the forum.

Share information is stored in the registry under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\Shares

I'd investigate there to start. Make sure you have entries there and make sure that your user ID has rights to write to there. Verify that you don't have a policy that blocks saving settings on exit for Explorer too.

Thankyou for such a quick response, I didnt expect it so soon. I will look into this as soon as my image comes down
on a test machine.
