Greetings,
I have spent all day trying to find out where the night message is when the 2250 attendant console goes to nite.
I need to change it from a simple "we are closed" to a menu driven, "after hours, leave message for sales press 1" for each department. I have a option 11c with callpilot 1.07. (cannot find the Call Pilot Manager on the server) Any help/proceedure would be appreciated. Thanx.

That recording would be in voicemail.

You need Call Pilot Application to change the night menu. Call Pilot Application installs on a user pc.

I cannot find that program on either the user PC (it does have the client version installed for VM changes)or the meridian PBX, where does one get it to install, or did I miss something? I will get you that LD 21 PRT when I get back to the PBX. Thanx for your comments.

Here is the NIT_DATA you asked for:

I have read that the application builder for callpiot is on the server CD, but have been unable to locate it. On my version 1.07 do I need to download from somewhere? If so where? Thanx

ok, nothing in the NIT DATA.... the app builder is on the Nortel site. It is an "A" patch and does not get installed on the cp server..

1.07 CP doesn't have a stand-alone appbuilder nor does it have CPMGR.

You need to find the Client CD and install the Client or find someone that has it already installed. AppBuilder is within the client.

I Just got off the phone with Nortel, none of the websites
appl. software are "available", or they are incompatible with my version(1.07). Can you please provide another link to a URL where I can get this appl builder. Thanx

I have the client installed already, but could not find it there either. Is it labeled something else?

Never mind, found in the Client Version, under system configuration, system sedttings, but cannot get it to open.

wow, u seem to be struggling pretty hard on this one. if the client is installed, just open the program and look at the SDN's in call pilot. if u can't open the client or don't know the password, call your vendor and open an emergency ticket. i used to work on 1.07, but forgot a lot of it.
once u find the SDN related to the console (u can dial it to confirm the message), look to see which menu it's using. this is what u have to change in app builder. so find the SDN, then which menu the SDN is using in App builder and change the recording on the menu. u can change the recording while in App Builder or u can change it by dialing in using Prompt Maintenance. since that requires more instructions, i would just stick to changing it from within app builder. good luck...

Thank you for responding, but I cannot get the app builder to open, it is on an XP PC if that makes any difference, (found the SDN numbers). What does the app builder need to open with?

Got the application builder to work, I was using wrong tree to get it going,,,needed to use....system administration, service administration, application builder. Thanx for your help on this part of the issue. I will work on your suggestion to see how far I get now. Thanx
