Don't know why this is happening. I made sure to uncheck "Automatically reboot" upon system failure yet it still reboots when I "Shut Down". A scan disk fixed the problem for about a day but then it started happening again. Just for the heck of it, I even scanned for spyware to see if maybe that was causing issues but found none. I booted into safe mode and tried shutting down, but it still restarts. Anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks!

We had this problem at one of our computers, and gave up, just leaving it on all the time. Then we bought new flat-panel monitors, and with the new monitor, the computer has been shutting down just fine ever since. Don't ask me why.
