I am trying to convert some of my tables I have in pagemaker into tifs. But when I export the tables the tables stay but the text is gone. Is there any way to avoid this or am i just out of luck...again.

Hi, cleitch,

Tables? What tables?

Export? To PDF?

Which versions of PM and Windows?

"Recommended Workflow for Creating PageMaker Publications" explains the best way to create a PM publication, and things to avoid.

I had pagemaker 7 and then switched back to pagemaker 6.5 and am running it on Windows 2000. The tables are just plain old tables made in pagemaker. The text in them are linked in. I was trying to make them into a format I heard would work. I was having trouble with some of the graphics so I exported them as tifs. I wrote the PS file then distilled.

Hi, Cleitch,

Table Editor 3.04?

> exported them as tifs.

Yup. The other option is EPS which is fine when creating PDFs, embedding and metafiles are no-nos with Postscript.
