What's the maximun length for commandtext?

Could you provide more detail? Are you referring to to the .Text property of a command button or a command in VB or something else?

The commandtext is one of the properties of an ADO connection command object.

I think I have accepted the fact that it only allow 255 chars because the datatype for commandtext is string.

Unless someone out there knows more....
