Currently we have an avaya call center solution (full DEFINITY solution) up and running in our corp site.

I was wondering what we would need for a surviable remote office to leverage this technology, ie what hardware and an approx of the price this costs...

with the new s8700 servers, you can have remote office with s8300 servers with local survivable process. Cost will depend on which country you are in. You will have to upgrade HQ to the s8700 first. Otherwise, you can run IP trunks between sites with local lines in the remote office. Many ways of doing this and it depends on yur budget

The previous thread was pretty accurate if you need "call center" features at the remote site. If you have no need for that at the remote site, you can always use the new Multitech Multivoip product. When used in conjunction with IP phones, the Multitech is fully operational in the event your link goes down.
