I have tried >20 different browsers and will through you some of my opinions:
My favourite browsers are:
1. Mozilla Firebird
2. Mozilla
3. Internet Explorer
4. MyIE2
Mozilla has come a long way in recent times. It shows why open source software is just so good. Mozilla Firebird is very smooth (doesn't have chunky rendering) and is (in my opinion) the best Mozilla release (and browser). Other good features are the pop-up stopper and tabbed browsing, not to mention it's small size and speed.
Mozilla is also very good and has made very good improvements in recent times. It is also very stable, but I prefer firebird.
Internet Explorer works well with everything. However, there is too many security flaws and doesn't have tabbed browsing.
MyIE2 runs off Internet Explorer's settings and offers more enhancments.
You will notice I haven't listed Opera or Netscape. I try every version of Opera each time they are released and although Opera is fast, I still find it buggy and could be improved in some areas. As for Netscape, it's open-source cousin is simply "better".
