What VLAN should put my servers in?

Hi,

I am rebuilding a smallish company network complete with VLAN's etc. What is best practice reagrding the logical location of the servers and other central things?

They would need to be accessed by almost everyone in the other VLANs. Should i put them in VLAN 1 or in their own VLAN or just a native VLAN?

Any advice?

MCP,CCA, Net+, 1 quarter CCNP...

Just put them in their own vlan and keep them out of vlan 1 . Also if everyone has to route to these servers make sure you have a decent router or l2/3 switch to use for layer 3 routing.
