Open a config from the IPO and look under control unit and it should tell you there.

STOP. Ignore the stupid answer you were given.
What version are you looking for, the version of the IP Office Manager program or the version of the software running in the IP Office system? They are and will be very different.
The About menu would show you (if it weren't garbled) the version of the Manager program.
The information in the config file is the version of software being run by the IP Office system.
[Note: In a classic of bad design the Manager version is 2 higher than the IP Office software version, eg. IP Office 4.0 software is managed using a version 6.0 Manager application]
If your are using one of the more recent versions of IP Office Manager, when you load a configuration just look in the programs title bar, it shows the version of Manager and the version of the IP Office software.

i really dont think you have to be so RUDE. It really is not a stupid answer. it will tell you the IPO version. when a end user who does not know IPO goes and looks under the about and it says 6.0 then they go on the website and see that Avaya is putting out 4.0 then they have no idea what is going on. i agree with you about the versions being different but that will give you the true reading of the IPO.

It does not matter if there are newer versions than the one you are on. If it is working as you need it to, it is not broke, do not fix it. The best news you could have right now is that you are at least one major release version behind. Do not even consider 4.0 an option at this time.

Sorry Kwing. However you clearly gave the WRONG (sorry , cap lock key got stuck, so stupid of me) answer to the question that was asked and didn't put in any explanation that you might suspect that the question being asked was possibly different from what the poster actually wanted to find out. So perhaps more time on your answers before you hit Submit Post and I'll do the same rather than being so gnarly.
Guys, the perfect answer here is not only the answer which solves the posters issue, but also the ones which foster learning. This learning is not only for the poster, but the person who replies, or reads the thread. That learning is not only facilitated by the reply being perfect, or even correct.

Just to complete the orriginal question, the about screen is garbled because you are running a screen resolution of 256 colours (or less)
if you reconfigure your display to use a 24bit mode this should be corrected. ( a further example of poor programming from Avaya!)
