What to purchase to make SharePoint work?

Hello! We're interested in getting SharePoint for our intranet at work, but from looking at the Microsoft site, we're still unsure of all the bells and whistles that are needed t make SharePoint run on our intranet.

Can anyone tell me the individual items that need to be purchased, for the client and server, in order to have SharePoint run on our network?? Our workstations are pretty up to date, same with our servers, so I don't think compatiblity info is needed...but moreso the items needed to put down on a purchase order.

You will need a licens for the server(s) and CAL's for the clients. That's it.

Also look antivirus (eg. Antigen for SPS)

Don't forget backupsoftware if you can find it.
