I have been trying repeatedly to get downloaded ISO images onto cdr for installation (linux operating system install disks) and have only had success on a few occasions. Any one know the secret in EZCD or in Nero?

In Nero, go to File and "Burn Image".

The .ISO extension should be associated with either Nero or EZCD. Just by double-clicking it, it should open into one of those apps ready to burn. If not, hold your shift key down, right click the ISO file, and left-click "open with". Select EZCD and hit OK. After a few moments, the next window that pops up should be one asking you for your writing preferences - just burn away!

If you can't get it to work in either, then try fireburner which should include a free trial. It's not very intuitive, but the program was designed especially with image files in mind. Nothing I've come across does a better job.
