Can anyone tell me what parts are and are not hot-swappable in the Cisco 6509 and 6513? I know the GBIC is hot-swap, but what about the supervisory engines, ethernet cards, power supplies, etc?

Pretty much everything in 6500 is hot swappable.. supervisors are as long as you fail them over to a backup supervisor..

Everything except the backplane is hot-swappable on the 6500 series - Fan Tray, PSU's, Supervisors, linecards etc. Some of the Service Modules (FWSM, IDSM) should be shut down cleanly before hot-removing. If you only have a single supervisor and you hot-remove it obviously all the linecards will shut down, but there is nothing stopping you doing it.
