I see no mention of what operating system is used for Cisco Call Manager release 7 / latest version. Is it Linux now or still Windows or both available?
CUCM 7 runs on a red hat distro of linux, believe it is either version 3 or 4... but you never actually get on the linux portion really, all webbased config
