Hi folks,
Every once in a while (like right now), RAS 5.10 appears in my Call Status....

Extension: RAS 5.10
Number: Empty Field
Other Party: Empty Field
Direction: Out
Status: Dial
Length: 135 minutes right now and growing...

Can somebody please tell me what this is?

IPO 4.6V2 (3.0.59)

Thanks in advance.

You used to get something like this if someone called in, got transferred using an analogue phone to another extension, which was forwarded to V/M. When the V/M answered, the person transferring the call then hit the Recall/Flash key to get the caller back to tell them the call was going to V/M, however by hitting the recall/flash key they put the voicemail on hold, you would then get RAS showing on call status and people getting the voicemail unavailable due to multiple log-on attempts.
May not be but just a thought.

I have seen this when using assisted transfers out of voicemail. I had a customer that was running 3.1 and used to get these calls all the time and they would hang untill a reboot.

It is a call that does not need to exist and was a glitch. If you have Phone Manager installed you could run it and run Call Status on the same machine. Use call steal in call status. That will give the call to your phone manager app. Hang up the call.

Cat on a key board may be right here.

This was an issue on earlier versions.

If you are nto on the latest version then upgrade.

Hmmm,
I was able to "Steal Call" in Call Status this morning which then made the object disappear (it had been running for 1250 minutes to this point).

Funny - this is one of the first things I tried yesterday to no avail. Don't know why it would do the trick today.

Ah, technology.

Thank you all for your assistance.
