I've not done much javascript and am trying to interpret this code, is the '^' a concatenator??
</b> <input type="hidden" name="item2" value="2222^AXCD^Testing^op1^op2^1" ID="Hidden3" language="javascript" onbeforeeditfocus="return Hidden3_onbeforeeditfocus()"> <font color="#141E8F" size="+2">

Thanks for any help.

It's not anything specific to JavaScript (unless used within a regular expression, which it is not). It's just a character like any other. It appears that it is being used as a delimiter to separate groups of information.

That character is used the same way that a dash or underscore is used to make a variable easier to read. Or a value, in this case. There is no special meaning to it in any programming language I have heard about.

Thank you for helping me out with this. I am now looking for a link to download a script debugger. Does anyone know where to find a link to the msscrdbg.exe? I've used this in the past on an old pc, but cannot seem to find a link to download this debugger.

Found the download, disregard the previous message.

The Firefox browser has a nice script debugger built in, and it's free, too.
