hi gurus
I am a new in linux field, I have downloaded Fedora core. Now my question is that what is the different between two files “FC_C-i386-disc1.sio and FC_C-i386-SRPMS-disc1.iso” and what does means of SRPMS?
I would be appreciated for above help.

Source RPMS. These are the source code for the binaries you'd be installing. At your stage of investigation I wouldn't bother unless Fedora asks for/requires it.

Welcome to linux, BTW.

dear guru,
Thanks for your advice. As a new i would request more advice regarding this field. in linuxiso.org i have seen lot of linux there, so i just downloaded FC project and installed it already in my home computer, as a linux guru, would you please suggest me, is FC ok for my stage or which linux i should go for?
i would be appreciated for your advice.

FC is nice, I like it, but flavor preference is as widely varied in Linux distributions as in chewing gum flavors.

Generally, people like distros that work for them, on their hardware. For example, I've always found Redhat and Fedora to be fine for what I want to do, so I've never bothered to switch. But asking this question on a forum like this always opens a real can of worms, with everyone and his dog giving their opinions on the relevant merits of their favourite version.

They are all free, so download one of the major ones and try it. If it works for you, fine, if not, then try one of the others and see if you prefer it.

While you are at it, ask which editor is best, and which window manager you should use, just for good measure.

Go on, I dare you... :)

And to complete the fun, bash or ksh?

But this is getting of topic...

FC is fine to start learning the basics, although as a newbie you tend to get lost in the GUI without actually learning the underlying functions.
