what is the config for cisco 2610 connection to 2950 swt

A 2610 would not have a fe0/0...it should only have e0/0. I would set the 2610 to duplex full and the associated switchport to speed 10 and full duplex. That way the two ports speed and duplex will match and you will not have and errors.
