Hello,

Question, What is the best way to test Cisco ports? The basic thing to do would be SHOW POST, SHOW TEST (If I can I set the test to COMPLETE) SET TEST DIAGLEVEL COMPLETE. These tests don't anyway work. I shipped a Cisco WS-X6416-GE-MT to a customer. Tested fine here in shop, but failed at the customers.

What device/equipment is good to test Cisco ports?

The post tests are the best way to see if everything passes . Most net admins don't have the time to try and test and plug into every port to see if it good or not.
